Who is your greatest inspiration? Many of us are blessed to have great mentors who inspire us to be our best. While many of these mentors are inspirational, they can be somewhat intimidating.
As Christians, we have the greatest inspiration in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He modeled for us what it means to be a mentor, a teacher, a guru.
Jesus is a transformational leader. Yet he is far from being intimidating.
Although he was God in flesh, he lived in humility while on this earth. He was always drawn to the weak, the rejected and the despised. He was a servant leader. He humbled himself to wash the feet of his disciples. While on this earth, he was forgiving and generously extended his grace and mercy towards others because of his unconditional love.
Jesus inspires us because he was an obedient son who carried out the mission of his father even unto the cross. He encourages us because he cared for the neglected and healed the sick. We admire our Lord because he brought out the best in others and continues to inspire people throughout many generations.
Let us continue to be inspired and transformed by the life and testimony of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Transform= metamorphosis, we are being transformed from glory to glory as we behold His Glory by the Spirit. Amen !
May the inspiration we derive from our Lord Jesus be the catalyst that will transform our minds to live for Him. Rom 12:1.
