GOD'S JOYS > WORLD'S TOYS

The Toys of this world rarely brings the deep seated soul satisfaction that God's joys grants. There is a place where you are invited to wade, deep into the crystal streams emanating from the depths of God's Throne. Its a rarified atmosphere of His Delights teeming with Love, Joy , Peace amidst other fruits of the Spirit. Don't we need His Joy and His Laughter in a world surrounded by sadness and disappointments?

Neglecting His Joy would be tantamount to spiritual suicide as there's no way under the sun , we could navigate the dangerous territory around us without it. The Joy of the Lord is uniquely His to give and specifically ours to obtain.

Lot of shipwrecked souls have grievously replaced His Joys with the World's Toys. As we surround ourselves with mindless entertainment that serves only to distract us from Eternity we get increasingly stressed. The Pure focus on Jesus Christ is lost. Our perspective falls like a spotlight on the temptations, difficulties and even worse, ourselves.

We would seem to fall short inorder to carry these heavy burdens and thus plunge into despair. The Spirit of the Lord therefore constantly invites us into His refreshing presence where His Living waters would dispel the inner darkness looming over our being.

The toys of this world are no match for the divine. These toys seldom appease the cravings within on the contrary they make us lust for more! But Jesus promised ...

Let us henceforth discipline ourselves to keep our " JOY" meter full lest we be on " EMPTY" . The Lord alone can transplant the Beauty of Who is within us. Its He inside of us that brings purpose and meaning back into our TOY filled life of vanity.

Let therefore the JOYS of VICTORY rule over the TOYS of VANITY forever in JESUS NAME. Amen. !
